Gary Golf Card Game

Looking for testimonials from people who have played my Card Game. So please e-mail me what you think. Also looking to maybe have a tournament sometime this year so if interested e-mail me and will put your info on file and then contact people to have an evening of fun.

Hello my name is Gary I would like to introduce you to my card game and I hope you and your family & friends enjoy it for a long time. Here are the instructions on playing this game enjoy.

The desk has 112 cards numbered from -5 thru 10. This deck is for 2-6 players. You would need another deck for 7 or more players but talk about fun the more the merrier. The object of the game is to get the lowest score after 9 holes (or 9 hands of golf) lowest score WINS!!!

Start off by dealing each player 9 cards face down, no one is to look at their cards. Now arrange your cards like those in (figure 1). Then turn up any 2 cards as in figure 1. Now put the rest of the cards in the middle of everyone. The top card is turned up in the discard pile. Now the first player to the left of the dealer goes first.

The top card is turned up in the discard pile. Now the first player to the left of the dealer goes first. Now you can take that card and trade it for any card in your hand. Example lets say the card showing is a 5, you can pick it up and trade it for any card in your hand. So if you have let’s say a 7 showing you can trade the 5 for this card and put it in the discard pile. Remember lowest score Wins!

Now this is where it gets interesting. You may replace any one of the cards that are face down also. But if you do this you HAVE to discard the card that is face down. So if you turn up a lower card like a -5 it has to go to the discard pile!!!

So choose wisely my Son.

Or you may draw from the pile. Again you may trade it for any of the cards in your hand. Or you can discard it, but then you have to turn up a card that is face down.

Now it’s the next players turn to decide to draw or they card use the card you just discarded. And so on around the table.

Now another twist to the game is if you have three cards in a row up and down ONLY (figure 2) you can sweep those cards away and put them in the middle or bottom of the discard pile. (figure 3) Shows what your hand would look like after you sweep your row.

But notice you have three different types of tens, some with golf balls, some with flag sticks, and some with golf clubs. So you can only sweep the same type cards. Not one golf ball ten with two driver tens (figure 4)

To end each hole (hand) someone has to turn up their last card that is face down. Then everyone gets one last turn, then every one turns up all their cards and count their cards face value (figure 5).

Then record your scores on the score sheet and play the next hole and after 9 holes the player with the lowest scoreWINS!!!

Keys to the Game:

When turning up the first two cards turn up two in the same column, who knows you may have the start of a sweep!

Try not to go out unless you less than 20 points showing in your hand.

If you have only one card left face down you can trade with any face up cards to keep from going out until you are ready or someone goes out.

This Game is designed for up to 6 players. If you want to play more than 6 players you will need and extra deck. The more players lots more fun.

Good Luck and have FUN
